The workshops, led by experienced tutors, children aged 9 to 14 years old throughout the game learned about programming and robotics. Modern teaching aids such as Lego Mindstorms, Scratch and App Inventor does allow for learning the basics of programming already at a young age.
Lego Mindstorms is an upgrade of the classic Lego equipped with a mini computer, sensors and servos. Sensors that are sensitive to light, touch, bras move, etc.. enable the creation of endless combinations of smart products. Produce, for example, the classic robot, robotic animals, electric guitar, etc..
Scratch programming language allows the creation of animations and computer games in a simple way, since it is translated into Slovenian bras language, moreover, does not require learning bras software code, but operates on the basis of graphical primitives. Children - in total there were 33 - at workshops throughout the game learn new skills, so Čarunalnik Association will continue to prepare events with similar content. They would like to make this kind of knowledge extended to all primary schools in the region, since many experts consider learning programming as equal learning foreign languages.
