The New Yorker photographer Pelle Cass intends ringen "to bring more life, more people, more information and more subjectivity" to your photos. To do this, set up the tripod Cass in various urban settings where you get multiple pictures ringen with the same framework, manipulating them later in order to create new compositions that show an overpopulated world. "These photographic compositions represent a particular location over time, looking for patterns and coincidence. Hundreds of pictures shot from a fixed point, just after I select (with the help of Photoshop) which retain the figures and which should be left out. My only rule is to let each figure scrupulously unchanged, in its original position. qua This makes the scenes look real, and in a way, a kind of document: these events actually happened, although (contrary to what seems ) did not happen all at once. "
